it started with a photo
The first piece
My first watercolour (kereru) was a fun experiment on photoshop while spending Christmas with my family in Australia. I was playing with digital watercolour brushes over my photos and starting building up and removing layers.
New Zealands native wildlife is the foundation for most of my work. Naturally Kahurangi the kokako from Pukaha National Wildlife Centre had a feature piece. You can purchase prints directly from the centre with a percentage going straight back into conservation efforts happening in the reserve.
Matariki the Wellington Whale - 2018
Sometimes I do runs of limited edition prints for special events and causes. Keep an eye on my Facebook page for updates! Have an idea for a fundraiser? Let me know!
