I’m so excited to be part of the upcoming FOTOFEST, where I’ll be sharing a collection of some of my favourite Kaimanawa horse images.

From familiar faces like Twilight and Satellite, to my all-time favourite Kaimanawa pair, this exhibition brings together some of the horses and moments that have stayed with me throughout my time photographing the wild horses of the Kaimanawa Ranges.

Alongside the exhibition, I’ll also be giving a talk about the horses, their stories, and the role photography can play in sharing their lives and raising awareness for their future. I’ll be talking a little about my experiences photographing them, the challenges (and joys!) of capturing these incredible animals in the wild, and why these images mean so much to me.

🖼️ Prints will be available to purchase, with proceeds from the sale of the images going towards supporting the Kaimanawa Heritage Horses and the important work being done on their behalf.
