As an extended lockdown is announced, I am fortunate to still be working and caring for the wildlife at Pukaha National Wildlife Centre. The captive wildlife that calls the reserve home still need to be fed and shelters still need to be cleaned. With breeding season creeping up fast, this is the time of year all our effort is put into their care, ensuring they have everything they want and need for a successful breeding season.
